Sensitive Personal Information
Social Security Number (life insurance only), health and medical information including physician details, prescription medications, surgery and hospitalization history, height, weight, and tobacco or marijuana use
Property Information
Property address, property type, year built, construction details, and coverage history
Vehicle Information
Vehicle year, make, model, VIN, ownership status, and lienholder details
Business Information
Business name, address, type, years in operation, number of employees, and annual revenue (for business and specialty insurance)
Internet Activity
Browser type, IP address, pages visited, website performance metrics, and error logs

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not engage in cross-site behavioral tracking.
5. Sensitive Personal Information
Social Security Numbers and medical information collected through our life insurance quote form are encrypted at the application level using AES-256-GCM encryption before storage. Only the last four digits of your SSN are retained in readable form for reference purposes. Sensitive fields are never included in email notifications. We collect sensitive personal information only with your explicit consent and use it solely for the purpose of processing your insurance application.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to process your insurance inquiry, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Specific retention criteria include:
- Quote request data: retained for the duration of your relationship with our agency or until you request deletion
- Sensitive data (SSN, medical information): encrypted and retained only as long as needed to process your insurance application; deleted upon completion or cancellation of the application
- Website analytics data: retained in anonymized form for up to 24 months
- Communication records (emails, form submissions): retained for up to 7 years for regulatory compliance
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the methods described in the Contact Us section below.
7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
As a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a privacy request, contact us by phone at (925) 270-1991 or by email at darlene@darleneBaxterAgency.com. We will verify your identity before processing your request.
Response timelines: We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days. We will respond to requests to know, delete, or correct within 45 calendar days. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension (up to an additional 45 days) and the reason for it. Requests to opt out of sale or sharing will be processed within 15 business days.
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the authorized agent to provide written proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly before fulfilling the request.
8. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. In the preceding 12 months, we have not sold or shared personal information of California residents for monetary or other valuable consideration.
Information is disclosed only to our insurance carrier partners for the purpose of processing your insurance application and to service providers necessary to operate our website, as described in Section 3 above. When we process an opt-out request, we will provide confirmation that your request has been honored.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will promptly delete that information.
10. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive data fields
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Security headers including Content Security Policy, HSTS, and X-Frame-Options
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse
- CAPTCHA verification on form submissions
- Cross-origin request protection
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
